Last updated October 2026

We are so happy you visited our site today. We hope our site provides valuable information you need. These Terms of Use form a contract between you and us that govern your use of our website and services. Because of that, we encourage you to read them closely and let us know if you have any questions.

Acceptance of the Terms of Use

These Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") constitute a binding agreement between Altru Partners, LLC ("Altru," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") and the individual or legal entity accessing or using our websites, software applications, customer portals, consulting services, educational programs, integrations, and related services ("Customer," "you," or "your").

This Agreement governs your access to and use of Altru's services, including the Altru Customer Portal, Profit Command Center, Phase4, bookkeeping services, business consulting, coaching, and other products or services made available by Altru (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, accepting this Agreement electronically, or authorizing a third-party integration, you agree to be bound by this Agreement and our Privacy Policy.

If you accept this Agreement on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

Depending on the services purchased or authorized, the Altru Customer Portal may provide access to:

  • Financial reporting and performance dashboards.
  • Profit Command Center business intelligence tools.
  • Business assessments, planning, and strategic frameworks.
  • Phase4 training, resources, and programs.
  • Bookkeeping and financial management services.
  • Operational and organizational performance reporting.
  • Authorized integrations with third-party business software.
  • Other tools, reports, features, and services made available by Altru.

The availability and scope of Services depend on the Customer's subscription, service agreement, permissions, and applicable third-party integrations.

Limited End-User License

Subject to compliance with this Agreement and payment of applicable fees, Altru grants the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Altru Customer Portal and related software for the Customer's authorized internal business purposes during the applicable service term.

The Customer may permit authorized employees, contractors, and representatives to use the Services in accordance with permissions established by the Customer and Altru.

The Customer is responsible for activity conducted through its authorized accounts.

This license does not transfer ownership of the software, technology, dashboards, methodologies, educational materials, trademarks, or other intellectual property belonging to Altru or its licensors.

Customer Accounts and Security

Customers must provide accurate and current registration information.

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and managing access granted to authorized users.

Customers agree to notify Altru promptly of suspected unauthorized access, compromised credentials, or security incidents affecting their accounts.

Altru may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the security, integrity, or lawful operation of the Services.

Third-Party Software Integrations

1. Supported Integrations

The Services may allow Customers to connect external software applications, business management systems, accounting platforms, customer relationship management systems, practice management systems, and other third-party services.

Examples may include:

  • QuickBooks Online and other Intuit services.
  • GoHighLevel.
  • ServiceFusion.
  • Customer relationship management systems.
  • Accounting and financial management platforms.
  • Practice management and industry-specific systems.
  • Payroll and workforce management platforms.
  • Scheduling, invoicing, and operational management systems.
  • Other software systems that Altru supports and the Customer elects to authorize.

The inclusion of a platform in this Agreement does not mean that an integration is currently available or supported.

2. Customer Authorization
When the Customer connects a third-party system to Altru, the Customer expressly authorizes Altru, within the scope of the permissions granted and applicable law, to access, retrieve, receive, import, transmit, store, organize, process, analyze, and display information from that system for purposes of providing the Services.

This authorization may include ongoing access and periodic synchronization for as long as the integration remains active and the applicable authorization remains valid.

Altru will access data only through authorized methods and permissions, subject to applicable provider terms and technical restrictions.

The Customer represents that it has the necessary rights, permissions, and authority to authorize access to the connected system and the information made available through it.

3. Categories of Information

Depending on the integration and permissions granted, Altru may process:

  • Accounting records and financial statements.
  • Revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash-flow information.
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable information.
  • Customer and vendor records.
  • Sales opportunities, pipelines, and performance metrics.
  • Appointment, scheduling, and service information.
  • Operational performance and productivity data.
  • Employee, workforce, and organizational information.
  • Business transactions and other authorized operational records.

Certain systems may contain personal information or regulated information. Such information will be subject to applicable law, the Privacy Policy, and any required supplemental agreement.

4. Permitted Uses of Integrated Data
Altru may process authorized integration data for the following purposes:

  1. Providing contracted consulting, advisory, bookkeeping, reporting, and business intelligence services.
  2. Generating financial, operational, sales, marketing, and organizational performance dashboards.
  3. Calculating key performance indicators and analyzing business performance.
  4. Preparing business assessments, forecasts, recommendations, and strategic reports.
  5. Monitoring data synchronization and troubleshooting integrations.
  6. Supporting Customer-requested workflows and administrative activities.
  7. Maintaining security, preventing fraud, and protecting the integrity of the Services.
  8. Complying with applicable legal obligations.

Altru will not use a Customer's identifiable financial, operational, or customer data for unrelated marketing, sale to data brokers, or disclosure to unrelated third parties without an appropriate legal basis or authorization.

5. Data Access and Permissions
The information accessible to Altru depends on the integration's technical capabilities and the permissions granted by the Customer.
Some integrations may support read-only access, while others may offer additional capabilities.

Any feature that creates, modifies, or deletes records in a connected third-party system must operate within the applicable permissions and the scope of the Customer's authorization.

This Agreement does not independently authorize Altru to initiate payments, transfer funds, modify accounting entries, or perform other consequential actions outside the agreed Services.

6. Integration Disconnection
Customers may request that Altru disconnect a third-party integration or may revoke access through the applicable third-party provider, where supported.

Following disconnection, Altru will cease new data retrieval through that authorization, subject to technical processing delays.

Previously retrieved information may remain stored as reasonably necessary to provide ongoing Services, comply with legal or contractual obligations, maintain business records, or satisfy legitimate retention requirements.

Deletion or return of previously retrieved information will be governed by the Privacy Policy, applicable law, and any separate data-processing or service agreement.

7. Third-Party Availability
Third-party integrations depend on systems that Altru does not control.

Altru does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, completeness, accuracy, or continued compatibility of third-party APIs or services.

A provider may change its features, permissions, pricing, security requirements, or access policies.

Altru may modify, suspend, or discontinue an integration when reasonably necessary because of provider changes, security concerns, legal requirements, or technical limitations.

Customer Data Ownership and License

As between Altru and the Customer, the Customer retains its rights and interests in the business information, documents, records, and data it provides or authorizes Altru to retrieve ("Customer Data"), subject to any rights of third parties.

The Customer grants Altru a limited, non-exclusive license to access, host, reproduce, transmit, transform, analyze, and otherwise process Customer Data solely as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill authorized instructions, maintain security, comply with law, and perform other uses expressly permitted by the applicable agreements.

Altru does not acquire ownership of Customer Data merely because it is transmitted to or processed through the Services.

Altru may create reports, calculations, dashboards, and analyses derived from Customer Data for the Customer's authorized use.

Altru will not disclose one Customer's identifiable confidential business information to another Customer without appropriate authorization.

Privacy, Confidentiality, and Information Security

Altru processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at:
https://altrupartners.com/privacy-policy/

Altru will use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through the Services.

Access to Customer Data will be limited to authorized personnel and service providers with a legitimate business need, subject to applicable confidentiality and security obligations.

Altru may engage hosting, database, authentication, infrastructure, and other service providers to operate the Services, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

No electronic system can be guaranteed to be entirely free from security risks.

Altru will address security incidents and provide notices when required by applicable law or contractual obligations.

Regulated and Sensitive Information

Some third-party platforms, including healthcare practice management systems, may contain protected health information, patient records, or other regulated data.

Customers must not authorize transmission of protected health information or other specially regulated information to Altru unless Altru has expressly approved the applicable integration and the parties have completed any legally required agreements and safeguards.

Where HIPAA applies, a separate Business Associate Agreement may be required before Altru creates, receives, maintains, or transmits protected health information on behalf of a covered entity or business associate.

This Agreement does not replace a required Business Associate Agreement, data-processing agreement, or other legally mandated contractual arrangement.

Altru may restrict or decline integrations involving regulated data until appropriate requirements have been satisfied.

Accuracy of Information and Professional Judgment

Financial reports, business intelligence dashboards, forecasts, and recommendations may rely on Customer Data or information obtained from third-party systems.

The accuracy of these outputs depends on the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and classification of the underlying information.

Altru does not guarantee that connected systems contain complete or error-free records.

Unless expressly agreed in a separate written engagement, dashboards and business intelligence tools are provided for management and informational purposes and do not constitute an audit, assurance engagement, legal opinion, or investment recommendation.

Customers remain responsible for business decisions and for obtaining appropriate professional advice when needed.

Intellectual Property Rights

Altru and its licensors retain ownership of the Services, including software, designs, methodologies, frameworks, training materials, trademarks, documentation, and other proprietary materials.

Except as expressly permitted, Customers may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services.

Customers may use reports and deliverables supplied to them for their internal business purposes, subject to applicable service agreements and third-party rights.

Acceptable Use

Customers agree not to:

  • Use the Services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
  • Access information belonging to another Customer without authorization.
  • Attempt to circumvent authentication, access controls, or security protections.
  • Introduce malicious software or interfere with the Services.
  • Misrepresent their authority to connect third-party systems.
  • Access or process information in violation of applicable privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual property laws.
  • Use the Services in a manner that violates applicable third-party platform terms.

Altru may suspend access when reasonably necessary to investigate or prevent material violations.

Fees, Purchases, and Service Agreements

Fees, payment schedules, cancellation terms, refunds, and the scope of purchased services may be governed by separate service agreements, order forms, subscriptions, or Altru's Terms of Purchase and Refund Policy.

Where a separately executed agreement expressly conflicts with this Agreement, the separately executed agreement will control to the extent of that conflict, unless otherwise stated.

Service Availability and Modifications

Altru may update, maintain, enhance, or modify the Services.

We may temporarily restrict availability for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.

Altru will use commercially reasonable efforts to communicate material service changes when appropriate.

We do not guarantee that every feature or integration will remain available indefinitely.

Termination and Suspension

The Customer's right to access the Services continues during the applicable service term, subject to compliance with this Agreement.
Either party may terminate the relationship as permitted under the applicable service agreement.

Altru may suspend access for material violations, nonpayment where contractually permitted, legal requirements, or significant security concerns.
Upon termination, the Customer's license to use the Services ends, except as otherwise provided in writing.

Customer Data will be retained, returned, or deleted according to applicable law, the Privacy Policy, and relevant contractual commitments.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AND EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN A SEPARATE WRITTEN AGREEMENT, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

ALTRU DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

ALTRU DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES, THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS, OR DATA RECEIVED FROM EXTERNAL SYSTEMS WILL ALWAYS BE UNINTERRUPTED, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR ERROR-FREE.

NOTHING IN THIS SECTION EXCLUDES OBLIGATIONS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALTRU WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICES, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH LIMITATIONS ARE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

ANY LIMITATION ON DIRECT DAMAGES, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIABILITY CAPS IN A SEPARATELY EXECUTED SERVICE AGREEMENT WILL APPLY AS PROVIDED IN THAT AGREEMENT.

NOTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.

Third-Party Products and Services

Third-party platforms remain subject to their respective terms, privacy policies, licensing arrangements, and service availability.

Altru is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for third-party platforms merely because an integration is offered.

The Customer is responsible for maintaining any required third-party subscriptions, licenses, and permissions.

Changes to This Agreement

Altru may revise this Agreement to reflect changes in its Services, integrations, legal obligations, or business practices.

Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law or contractual obligations.

The updated Agreement will identify its effective date.

Where additional consent is legally required, Altru will obtain that consent before relying on the applicable changes.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement, disputes arising from this Agreement will be brought before courts of competent jurisdiction located in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Severability and Waiver

If a provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the extent permitted by law.

Failure by Altru to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
